Moonlight Rose
The moon wept in heaven
Her light, sprinkling to Earth
Rested gently on a single stem
That lifted her head above the sleeping garden
The night opened in that solitary spot
Where miracles are made
Are released a sighÂ
So many eyes glance the beauty
Yet so few comprehend the strength
Of a rose standing defiantly against the darkness
Dancing softly in the moonlight.
