Whether it’s a visual, a system, or a message,
I make things that make sense.
To launch Slingshot DAO—a platform where community members could propose and vote on blockchain-based game ideas—we needed a cinematic trailer bold enough to spark curiosity and loyalty. With a nod to Apple’s iconic 1984 commercial, the video had to do more than promote a product; it had to ignite a movement. The piece introduces the idea of “freedom through the Metaverse,” blending sci-fi aesthetics with layered symbolism, visual Easter eggs, and a powerful core message: You own what you build.

With a limited budget, a distributed team, and a vague brief, the challenge was to craft a launch trailer that could energize Slingshot DAO’s community, differentiate the platform from other Web3 projects, and deliver a clear ideological message—without falling into crypto hype or generic futurism.
We developed a cinematic concept inspired by Apple’s 1984 ad, crafting a powerful message of digital liberation through community-owned game development. I wrote the script, led storyboarding, and worked closely with a remote animation studio in Italy to bring the vision to life. We embedded dozens of visual Easter eggs to build lore and spark curiosity, and I oversaw the creation of original environments, characters, and ships that could extend beyond the video into the product ecosystem.
The trailer established a visual identity and story-first positioning that set Slingshot DAO apart from other Web3 projects. It built early buzz, helped attract backers, and gave the community a unifying vision. The cinematic tone and layered storytelling gave the piece longevity, earning continued use in social, investor, and event contexts.
